In order to avoid unnecessary load of the clutch, the TIMEMOVER sleep-phase simulates normal use. The introduction of the TIME MOVER sleep-phase for 10 hours in each 24 prevents unnecessary wear and tear of a watch's automatic winding system. It does this by giving the main spring of the watch the opportunity to unwind during a 10 hour period. For the remaining 14 hours, the owner is free to choose the number of turns - 650, 800 or 900.
